CREATIVE EXPLORERS DAY NURSERY

Curriculum

At Creative Explorers, we believe in fostering a unique learning journey for each child, rather than using a set pedagogy.

Our approach is centred on nurturing children’s individual interests and guiding them toward their next developmental milestones. Our curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to align with these personalised pathways, all while drawing from the best educational and child development theories. For a deeper understanding of our educational philosophy, please explore our ethos.

Planning

At Creative Explorers, our approach to creating a dynamic learning environment involves two key elements: spontaneous, in-the-moment planning and our flexible weekly planner. We take into account not only the ever-changing needs of the children but also the broader context, including seasonal variations, cultural observances, and festive celebrations.

SEND

We take immense pride in our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) offer, designed to provide comprehensive support to children with additional needs.

EXTRA CURRICULUM

Our extra-curricular activities are designed to complement our curriculum and provide your children with additional opportunities for growth, exploration, and fun. These activities not only nurture their creative spirits but also help them develop important life skills

Parent Partnerships

At Creative Explorers, we will hold family partnership in the highest regard. Our commitment to keeping you closely involved in your child’s developmental and learning journey will be evident through our regular communication channels. We will provide day-to-day snapshots of your child’s activities via our family app through pictures and will offer more comprehensive monthly assessments that delve into their interests and progress. Additionally, we will facilitate two parent communication meetings each year, where you can engage in in-depth discussions about your child’s development and learning with their assigned key person. As your child reaches the age of around 2 and a half, you can also anticipate a detailed progress report to further enrich your understanding of their growth and milestones

EYFS

Children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives more than any other time. That’s why they are called the foundation years – the building blocks for life! During these foundation years, children’s health, maternal, mental health, parenting style, learning activities and early education are all the influencing factors that can make a big difference to your child’s future.
