CREATIVE EXPLORERS DAY NURSERY

How Our Fees and Funding are calculated at Creative Explorers:

Our fees are based on the number of private (non-funded) hours your child attends each week.

The more private hours you book, the lower the hourly rate applied.
Fees are calculated monthly and averaged across the year, based on the 51 weeks per year that we are open (including public holidays and staff training days).

Once you have attended a nursery tour, we will be happy to provide a personalised quote tailored to your family’s individual needs and circumstances.

Government Childcare Funding:

We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour government funding, subject to eligibility.

All 3- and 4-year-olds in England receive universal 15 funded hours per week from the term after their third birthday.

Many working families are eligible for an additional 15 hours (30 hours total).

Some families may also qualify for 15 funded hours for 2-year-olds, depending on income, benefits or family circumstances.

As a year-round nursery, funded hours are stretched across 12 months, meaning approximately:
15 hours funding = around 11.18 hours per week across the year
30 hours funding = around 22.35 hours per week across the year

Funded hours are provided at £0 cost.

Any hours above your funded entitlement are charged as private hours.

Families are responsible for checking eligibility, applying for funding, and renewing their code each term. Failure to renew will result in full fees being chargeable.
