At Creative Explorers we aim to encourage and support children to use their Creative thoughts and put them into practice through everyday play experiences.  We want our children to explore and discuss ideas and feelings with us in an environment that is safe and loving.

The nursery is spread across 2 sites, both equidistant from Hornsey Overground station and within a 5 minute walking distance from one another.

  • Our main and original site, is located on Gisburn Road.  This site offers a specialist baby room for children under 18 months who need that time to just be babies; exploring the world around them, learning those all important first social interaction skills between themselves and other children.  We also have a large and bright open-plan toddler room, which is seldom found these days in inner-city nurseries.  This room caters for children from 18 months to 3 years and is a great opportunity for them to develop their creative and imaginative skills.
  • Our second site is due to open at the end of January 2017 and will cater for the over 3 year olds, or 'pre-schoolers' as we know them best.   The nursery has an extensive outdoor garden with lots of room for exploring and uncovering hidden gems for a child.  At Preschool our aim is to create an environment where the children are enjoying themselves through guided teaching and and learning.  We aim to get the children 'school-ready' so the transition for them is smooth and effortless.

Both nurseries are run by fully qualified and experienced staff and we pride ourselves on providing childcare of the highest possible standards, whilst incorporating love and care.   We work in accordance to the Early Years Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum (EYFS) in order to ensure all the children are reaching the required milestones needed for school.

We welcome you and your family to come and visit our nurseries to give you a glimpse into our world.  This will give you an opportunity to see the children and their teachers busy at work and play.  If you would like to visit us, or have any queries about your child’s needs, please telephone or email us.
